“Fourty sets were in use. A steam locomotive was passing by on the playing surface and the applied radio grid, because it was an outdoor location, was tricky because the transmitters were close to each other in the grid. However, the reception was unprecedentedly stable, even with the passing locomotive . ”
At Brabant Talent in Oss, 72 broadcasting systems were used, with a large part of the grid being occupied by DVB-T. Gijs Kater: “The gain control makes the system stable and it also sounded better because there is less interference.”
At My Fair Lady 28 sets are in use, divided over three bands. Because it is a traveling production, the frequencies are changed per location. The adjustable bandpass filters on the RF-toolbox XL ensure better filtering. The reception is more stable and the gain control lowers the noise floor.
